Kid Icarus DOWNFALL-2 The Familiar Face

"My wiiiiinnnnnngs!" Cried Pit. "It just can't be!" He sobbed. "Young man? What are these 'wings' you are so upset about? Is that some slang I haven't heard of? You young'uns confuse me!" Said The Man. "Oh! I have your wings!" Smiled the Little Girl. "REALLY?!" Pit hugged the girl very tightly with a huge smile on his face. "WHERE?!" "Here!" Replied The Girl, giggling. She pulled out a hand-made scarf with butterfly wing patterns all over it. Pit sighed. "I'll never get back to Sky Land for sure now." But then a critical thought entered his head. "THE OTHERS!" He shouted.

Just then, a familiar figure appeared at the small door-way. The house was a small, square-shaped building made completely of rock. The Man ran over to the figure and gave it a hug. "How is my greatest customer doing?! It's been some time since you last visited, my friend!" The Man said. A familiar voice replied: "I'm sorry about that, Dorris. I been on some crazy adventures that you won't believe!" Pit was sure he heard this voice before. As soon as Dorris moved away from his view, he saw the familiar face, in which the familiar voice belonged to. It was none other than Magnus.

"MAGNUS!" Pit ran up to him, even happier than Dorris did, and glomped him. "IT'S SO GOOD TO SEE A FAMILIAR FACE!" He sobbed. "Woah! Woah! Woah! Who are you, pip-squeak?! Your voice sounds very familiar but, I doubt you're who I think you are." Said Magnus, with an annoyed tone in his voice. "IT'S MEE! PIT! THAT ANGEL!" "WHAT?! That can't be! Your wingless! And why would you be here?! Kid! What kind of trouble do you get yourself into?! I had to take you out of a damn ring before! Now your angelness is gone?! For an angel, you need God's miracles in your life." Muttered Magnus, sarcastically. "Do you know this boy?" Asked Dorris. "I'll have to explain this some other time...." replied Magnus. "It's a long story. I doubt my visit will be long now. This kid, Pit means that something huge is going on."
"Why do you say that?" Asked Dorris, looking at Pit, very curiosly now. "I used to be an angel...." Chuckled Pit nervously. This whole time, the Sheepdog was staring at Pit intentively, as if he knew all along. "Hey! I think Icarus likes you!" Said The Girl pointing to the dog. "Icarus?" Asked Pit. He walked over to the sheepdog. "Hey Rosabeth! Stop distracting Pit! He needs to come with me." "Alright, Sir Magnus." Rosabeth said, with a little sorrow in her voice. "Will you come again soon?" Asked Dorris." "I don't know, friend. I feel another adventure coming on."

Pit was just about to leave, behind Magnus when Rosabeth, poked his hip. "I want you to bring these wings with you! You're an angel right? You need beautiful wings to be a beautiful angel again!" She smiled and handed Pit the butterfly scarf. Pit couldn't help but, smile at her. That's when he realized.....that little girl was the same girl he saw when he was in the ring. The same girl he had taken control over. He was glad to see she was ok. He looked over at Icarus. He wasn't the dog he possessed but, there was something odd about him. Pit took the scarf, and patted Rosabeth's head. "Thank you." He kissed her cheek. "May Lady Palutena watch over you....." It was the thought of her alone that made a tear fall from Pit's eye and onto the scarf. "It's ok!" Rosabeth kissed Pit's cheek and smiled. "May my scarf bring you luck!" She giggled and ran behind her mother.
"Come on, already!" Groaned Magnus. "This isn't to be a touching story of a little girl and an angel, now is it?!" "What do you mean story?" Pit was highly curious, and had his head cocked to the side.
"Uh! Nevermind that! You're the one that has the explaining to do!"
