Yes, the link resembled pop art. But I doubt that you intended your piece as a satire of advertising from the 50's to the 80's. Pop art on the surface is taking photos and changing the hue. But it's a also a deeply intellectual movement looking at our society and consumerism.

I don't get that message from this piece.

That's a good point. Sorry if I was sounding a bit harsh, it's easy to forget around here that not everyone is going around art thieving.

Also, most art done during the Pop Art movement was made with traditional materials. So, Warhol screen printed images that looked too perfect. Other artists used paint. Taking a digital image and changing the hue with Photoshop is something completely different.
